Battery manufacturing process

Working principle: it is internally composed of positive electrode, negative electrode, electrolyte and diaphragm, and uses the movement of lithium ions to generate electricity.

The most important thing in manufacturing such a battery is the production of positive and negative electrodes.
The positive electrode is made by coating active substances such as nickel cobalt manganese ternary material powder, conductive agent and binder on aluminum foil, and then drying and pressing; The negative electrode is made by coating graphite powder and binder on copper foil, and then drying and pressing.
The positive and negative plates just produced are such a large roll of continuous strips, as is the diaphragm made of polyethylene, polypropylene and other polymer materials
Cylindrical batteries rely on "rolls". The raw materials are stacked together in the order of negative pole, diaphragm, positive pole and diaphragm, directly rolled into a cylindrical shape by winding method, and then placed in the metal shell.

The flexible battery relies on "folding". For example, this Z-shaped lamination method is to cut the positive and negative raw materials into rectangular pole pieces of the same size, and then stack them on the diaphragm respectively. The diaphragm passes through them in a Z-shaped manner, separating the two poles, and finally wrapped with aluminum plastic packaging.
